Product Description
Scientific name "island type microfiber". It is to disperse one polymer in another polymer, and the dispersed phase is in the state of "island" in the cross section of the fiber, and the matrix is equivalent to the "sea". Finally, the sea-island components are dissolved by fabric finishing to obtain ultrafine fibers with a monofilament diameter of less than 3.0 μm. Sea-island microfibers are usually combined with high-shrinkage fibers to form hetero-shrinkage composite fibers. Due to the large difference in shrinkage rates between these two raw materials, after the post-finishing process, the fabric forms an ivy-like multi-layered structure that floats on the fabric. The island silk on the surface is entangled with each other like ivy, giving the fabric an ultra-soft, delicate and smooth hand. High shrinkage fibers become core fibers after shrinking, and their greater strength and stiffness endow the fabric with super drape properties.

The fabric is soft to the touch, has good drapability, and is light and thin in texture, which is half that of genuine leather, and can be woven into fabrics of different thicknesses and weights; various surface treatments can be performed to obtain various surface effects. There is writing effect on the surface, good three-dimensional feeling; small heat and humidity shrinkage deformation, good air permeability, waterproof and vapor permeability, high fabric strength, far better than natural suede. Weaving ultra-high-density fabrics, using the shrinkage properties of high-shrinkage yarns, can be woven into fabrics with higher density and higher water pressure resistance. Although this type of fabric has high density, it is very comfortable to wear due to its extremely fine fiber, light texture, good drape, soft color and luster, soft and plump hand feel, graceful and warm appearance, and at the same time, it can maintain considerable moisture permeability and breathability.
