What is nylon filament?
Nylon filament is a fiber made from polyamide as raw material, processed and stretched. Nylon filament is commonly used in the knitting and silk industry, such as weaving various wear-resistant nylon socks such as single stockings and elastic stockings, nylon scarves, mosquito nets, nylon lace, elastic nylon outerwear, various nylon fabrics or interwoven silk products.
The main chains of different nylon macromolecules are connected by carbon and nitrogen atoms, and the focused structure of nylon is closely related to the stretching and heat treatment during the spinning process.
Nylon molecules spun at a general spinning speed are prone to crystallization, which occurs during the spinning process. Nylon 6 also crystallizes during the placement process after spinning.
Due to the inconsistent internal and external temperatures during cooling forming, the outer layer of nylon generally has a higher degree of orientation and lower crystallinity, while the core layer has a higher degree of crystallinity and lower orientation.
